Glitchdeals is an information service — we aggregate and publish deal data. We are not a retailer and are not party to any purchase you make. These Terms govern your use of our website and platform features. By using Glitchdeals, you agree to these Terms. If you have questions, contact legal@glitchdeals.co.uk.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Glitchdeals (glitchdeals.co.uk), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using this site. Continued use of the service following any update to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
2. Service Description
Glitchdeals is an automated price-intelligence and deal-aggregation platform. We detect, curate, and publish pricing anomalies, significant price drops, and algorithmic discounts sourced from third-party retailers. We are an information service only. Glitchdeals is not a retailer, marketplace, or party to any transaction. We do not hold stock, process payments, or fulfil orders. Any purchase you make through a link on this site is a contract solely between you and the relevant retailer. Your statutory consumer rights apply in relation to that retailer, not Glitchdeals.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account or use account-gated features (voting, commenting, deal submission). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age. This service is operated from the United Kingdom and is primarily intended for users accessing it from within the UK. We make no representation that the service is appropriate or available in other jurisdictions.
4. User Accounts
Accounts are managed via Clerk, our third-party authentication provider. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at legal@glitchdeals.co.uk. Glitchdeals accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not create accounts on behalf of third parties, in bulk, or for the purpose of manipulating platform features. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
5. User-Generated Content
By submitting any content to Glitchdeals — including but not limited to comments, votes, deal reports, and deal submissions ("UGC") — you grant Glitchdeals a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such UGC in any media, now known or hereafter developed. You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. Glitchdeals may remove any UGC at any time and for any reason, without notice or liability. We are not obligated to store, maintain, or display any UGC.
6. Deals, Prices & Accuracy
All pricing data is sourced automatically from third-party retailers and is subject to change without notice. Glitchdeals makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any deal, price, product description, or stock level listed on this site. Prices may have changed by the time you click a link. Deal listings are for informational purposes only. Glitchdeals is not liable for any loss or damage — financial or otherwise — arising from your reliance on information published on this site, including any purchase you make or fail to make. The Heat Score represents community sentiment and algorithmic weighting; it is not a recommendation or endorsement.
7. Affiliate Disclosure
Glitchdeals does not currently earn any commission or affiliate income from any retailer or link on this site. All deal links are provided purely as a free service to consumers with no financial arrangement between Glitchdeals and any retailer at this time. In the future, Glitchdeals may participate in affiliate programmes — such as the Amazon Associates Programme or equivalent UK affiliate schemes — to generate revenue that funds the continued operation of the platform and keeps it free to use. If and when such arrangements are introduced, this page will be updated to reflect them, and affiliate links will be clearly disclosed. Any future affiliate income will have no influence over which deals are detected, listed, or ranked by our automated systems.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access, scrape, or interact with any part of the platform; (b) create multiple accounts for the purpose of gaining extra votes or manipulating the Heat Score; (c) engage in coordinated vote manipulation, brigading, or any organised attempt to artificially inflate or deflate a deal's ranking; (d) post spam, unsolicited promotional content, or affiliate links in comments or deal submissions without disclosure; (e) harass, threaten, or abuse other users; (f) upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content; (g) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, databases, or the Sniper Engine; (h) impersonate Glitchdeals staff or other users. Breach of these rules may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on Glitchdeals — including but not limited to the Glitchdeals brand, the "Sniper Engine" name and concept, the Heat Score algorithm and methodology, site design, copy, graphics, and code — is the exclusive intellectual property of Glitchdeals or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trade mark, and database right laws. No content from this site may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without our prior written consent. The "GLITCHDEALS" name and logo are unregistered trade marks of Glitchdeals. All rights reserved.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable UK law: (a) Glitchdeals provides this service on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement; (b) Glitchdeals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities; (c) our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed £50. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glitchdeals, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the service; (b) any UGC you submit; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
12. Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the service at any time, with or without cause or notice, at our sole discretion. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at legal@glitchdeals.co.uk. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Clauses 5 (UGC licence), 9 (IP), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnity), and 13 (Governing Law) survive any termination.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, subject to your rights under applicable UK consumer protection law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will endeavour to provide notice via a site banner or email where practicable. Your continued use of Glitchdeals following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service.
