Glitchdeals is a UK-only automated price-detection platform. It monitors Amazon UK product prices around the clock and publishes verified price drops — anomalies below the 90-day median — to a public feed within seconds of the change. No human submission queue. No paid placements. No fake RRPs.
The old way is rigged.
Traditional deal sites run on human submission queues. A coupon hits, a moderator reviews it, then publishes. By the time it shows up, the inventory is gone.
Retailers inflate "RRP" anchors so a discount looks bigger than it is. The Advertising Standards Authority fines for this. It still happens every day.
Scalper bots fill the gap. They clear stock seconds after a glitch hits, then resell at full price. Most consumers never see the glitch happen.

How It Works
The Sniper Engine runs the same six-stage pipeline on every Amazon UK listing it sees. No exceptions, no editorial overrides.
- 01Continuously poll Amazon UK via the Keepa price-history API for new pricing events across millions of ASINs.
- 02Score each drop against the prior 90-day median price for that product. Formula:
glitch_score = current_price / avg_90. - 03Classify the anomaly into one of three tiers: STANDARD, GLITCH, or CRITICAL_GLITCH. Tier is assigned by the pipeline — no human curator can promote a deal between tiers.
- 04Publish to the Live Feed within minutes of detection. Visit glitchdeals.co.uk to see the current feed.
- 05Rank by community heat. Authenticated users vote each deal hot or cold; a time-decay function surfaces fresh, verified drops at /hottest.
- 06Archive to The Graveyard. Sold-out and corrected deals move to /graveyard so the historical price floor is never lost.

The pipeline runs 24/7. Detection latency is measured in seconds, not hours. Every price drop on the Live Feed was published because the algorithm classified it — not because a moderator picked it.

Brand-specific terminology, defined. These terms mean specific things on this site — definitions live here so nothing has to be guessed.
- Sniper Engine
- The automated detection pipeline behind Glitchdeals. Polls Amazon UK price data and classifies anomalies against 90-day medians. No human curator promotes deals between tiers.
- Live Feed
- The public homepage at glitchdeals.co.uk. Every listing here was published by the algorithm, sorted newest-first.
- Heat Score
- Community ranking on /hottest. Votes weighted by a time-decay function:
score = votes / (age_in_hours + 2)^1.5. Fresh deals rise; old ones cool off. - The Graveyard
- The archive at /graveyard. Expired and sold-out deals stay public so you know the historical price floor before the next drop hits.
- Glitch Score
- current_price ÷ 90-day average. Lower is rarer. A score of 0.30 means the product is at 30 % of its historical price — a 70 % drop versus the prior 90-day median.
- CRITICAL_GLITCH
- The top tier. Probable retailer pricing error. Under UK contract law the listing is an "invitation to treat", so the retailer can cancel before dispatch — but refusing to refund is not allowed.
